The Streets, Keane and Natasha Bedingfield will compete for the top prize at the 50th Ivor Novello Awards in London next month.

The Streets, Keane and Natasha Bedingfield will compete for the top prize at the 50th Ivor Novello Awards in London next month.

Rapper Mike Skinner's The Streets track Dry Your Eyes, Keane's Everybody’s Changing and Bedingfield's These Words have been nominated to win the Best Song Musically and Lyrically award at the ceremony on 26 May.

Another Streets track, Blinded By The Lights, has been shortlisted for the Best Contemporary Song prize, alongside Wolfman featuring Pete Doherty's For Lovers and Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand.

Elsewhere, Britney Spears is competing to win the Most Performed Work award for her Toxic single. Fellow nominees in that category are Amazing by George Michael and Thank You by Jamelia.
