Rocker Doherty signs up for poetry festival

Controversial rock star Pete Doherty is to showcase his poetry at a festival to celebrate Scotland’s most famous bard, it emerged today.

The Babyshambles singer is among the headline acts at the Burns An’ A’ That event in Ayrshire, along with music legend Lou Reed.
