Hurley launches beachwear range
Liz Hurley brought her boyfriend along to help launch her new bikini range today.
But the actress, who turns 40 next month, left the bikini-wearing to the other models at the event in Harrods.
Instead she wore her trademark favourite – fitted white trousers – costing £179 (€260) from her collection, and teamed it up with a pink top, costing £96 (€140) from her range.
Hurley, who has been dating Indian tycoon Arun Nayer for two years, told onlookers: “I can’t tell you what it means to me to have you all here today. I feel faint with excitement. This is the first time I have ever produced anything entirely by myself.”
Surrounded by four models, she added: “I was in the warehouse last night until 2am. It’s particularly exciting to see the fruits of my labour, hanging and pressed. It’s a very new venture for me. During last summer I had the idea of having the beachwear line.”
Hurley, who has been modelling her new bikinis in photoshoots in recent weeks, said the range had been made in Italy and the beading came from India.
“My boyfriend is half Indian and he’s been helping me supervise that part of it,” said the mother of one.
She signed shots of herself wearing her bikini range for fans.
