Showgirl Kylie set to wow Dublin
Thousands of Kylie Minogue fans are expected in Dublin’s Point Depot tonight for the first of four Irish concerts.
The Australian pop star is continuing a career that has lasted 17 years – her first chart hit was I Should Be So Lucky back in January 1988.
Fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano and Julien McDonald have designed outfits for her Showgirls tour, which features a cross-section of Kylie songs from the beginning to her new single Giving You Up.
Kylie, 36, will wear an array of elaborate outfits inspired by showgirls, from the Moulin Rouge to Las Vegas. Following the sell-out of the first three concerts – tonight, Friday and Saturday – she will take to the stage at the Point Theatre again on Monday.
