Unseen U2 photographs fail to sell at Dublin auction

Four previously unseen photographs of the Irish rock band U2 failed to sell at auction in Dublin yesterday evening.

The black and white prints by the renowned Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn were expected to sell for up to €12,000, but they failed to even reach their reserve price of €8,000.

The sale had received widespread media attention in recent weeks, but the highest bid received for the photos yesterday was €7,700.
