Connery lends voice to latest Bond movie

Sean Connery will lend his voice to the latest James Bond video game, it emerged today.

The legendary Scottish actor, who starred in six Bond films, will provide the dialogue for a new game version of From Russia With Love.

His character will be joined on screen by animated versions of others from the original 1963 cast including Desmond Llewelyn’s Q, Robert Shaw’s Red Grant and Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny.

“As an artist, I see this as another way to explore the creative process,” Sir Sean told the Hollywood Reporter.

“Video games are an extremely popular form of entertainment today, and I am looking forward to seeing how it all fits together.”

The Electronic Arts game is scheduled for release later this year on PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube.
