Good cast, pity about the rubbish surrounding it.

Travolta, who in real life is actually a charming bloke, seems destined to search and search again for another Get Shorty role. This one falls vaguely into the category - instead of films we have our hero trying to make it in the music world, still up to his neck in venality and dodgy characters.

It turns out to be so uncool, such a waste of talent and such dismal entertainment that you begin to wonder, not for the first time, where you can find the suit who thought it would be a hoot … other than of derision!
