Nimoy slams Alley's Fat Actress
Former Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy has slammed Kirstie Alley's new comedy Fat Actress - branding its depiction of overweight women "dishonest".
The screen star, who turned 74 on Saturday, has a new photography show set to open in New York City this summer based on plus-sized women.
And the actor admits he's far from thrilled with Alley's representation of large women on TV.
He blasts: "It's deplorable, dishonest, contrived. My models are proud people."
Comedienne Rosie O'Donnell was also among those who expressed disgust at the recently-debuted show.
