Lewis shows funny side

Daniel Day-Lewis is eager to shed his serious public persona by starring in his own comic movie.

The Gangs of New York star, 47, has written the comedy script with his wife Rebecca Miller, daughter of the late playwright Arthur Miller - but they are struggling to find financial backers to produce the movie because it's filled with their unique sense of humour.
