From Germany comes this disappointing animated feature about little Laura who longs to become an astronaut and whose life is changed when a small star crashes to Earth, is hurt, is taken home by Laura and weaves its magic: toys come alive, blah, blah, blah.

Like E.T., though, the wee fella begins to lose his twinkle and Laura has to get him back home.

Ahhh! Or, rather, Grrrr!!

Not good, no enchantment, no excitement.
