Sopranos star adopts baby

Edie Falco has adopted a baby boy, her agent confirmed tonight.

Falco, 41, took the baby home in December, within days of his birth. She named him Anderson, her mother’s maiden name, Falco’s agent, Richie Jackson, said.

The actress has won three Emmy Awards for her role as mob wife Carmela Soprano in The Sopranos.

Last year, Falco announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, but was successfully treated.
