No controversy at this Neverland

Finding Neverland, starring Johnny Depp, has nothing to do with the Michael Jackson trial, but everything to do with J M Barrie.

This fictional tale examines how the author found the inspiration to invent his best loved character Peter Pan.

Depp is wonderfully cast in the main role, and fully deserved his Oscar nomination. Ably directed by Marc Forster, it’s a charming almost tearful masterpiece with Kate Winslett, Julie Christe and Dustin Hoffman lend their support.

Among the extras are a director’s commentary, several featurettes, plus outtakes and deleted scenes. Make up your own mind as to whether the latter should have been included.
