Movie star Kevin Kline will be urging Americans to get tested for diabetes in a new TV advertisement.

The De-Lovely actor has signed up to star in a new Diabetes Aware campaign and will appear alongside funnyman Jon Lovitz in new TV public service announcement.

The 30 second PSA has been directed by movie maker Jerry Zucker, whose daughter Kate is a diabetic.
