Promoters MCD confirmed award-winning band Green Day would lead the line-up on day one of the Oxegen July weekend event with American rockers Foo Fighters rounding off 48 hours of excess at Punchestown.
Brit Award winners Keane and The Streets will bring a string of hit singles to the stage along with music pioneers New Order and Las Vegas rock stars The Killers.
The Prodigy have been lined up to offer a blast from the past with original band members Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim taking centre stage.
The two-day music event is the only confirmed Irish date for The Frames, their first open air gig since Marlay Park last summer.
The band are heading off on a world tour to promote their latest album Burn The Maps.
Former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown has added his name to the list along with international promoter and DJ Erick Morillo.
Godfather of Soul James Brown will entertain punters at the outdoor show.
MCD revealed day one of the festival, July 9, will include performances by Green Day, The Frames, Prodigy, Queens of the Stone Age, Erick Morillo, Ian Brown, Kasabian and Razorlight.
The line-up on day two, July 10, will see Foo Fighters, Keane, The Streets, Audioslave, James Brown and The Beautiful South take to the stage.
Other acts announced to date include Slam, Black Strobe and Silicone Soul, others will be confirmed in the coming weeks and months, MCD said.
Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster outlets nationwide priced at €64.50 for one day, €120 for two days and €145 for a two-day camping pass.
