Alley plans Cheers reunion episode
Former Cheers star Kirstie Alley is fighting to bring the hit bar sitcom back for a one-off special.
The actress, who played bossy manager Rebecca Howe on the cult show, wants to film a reunion programme that just follows on from the final episode, which appeared 12 years ago.
She says: "I would die to do one. My ideal would be to do a reunion show but act like we've all worked there (in the bar) for the past 12 years.
"That's what I would love - with us all still losers working at Cheers. They need to do that."
