Schwimmer heart sinks as he misses Friends

Ex-Friends star David Schwimmer is still coming to terms with the end of the hit US TV comedy, mainly because he misses working with his former castmates.

While Schwimmer adjusts to life away from Friends, which ended last year, he finds reminiscing with former co-star Lisa Kudrow about their 10 years on the show has made the transition easier.

Schwimmer, who is making his London stage debut in May, said: "Although it's only been a year last week since we ended filming, it feels like many, many, many moons ago.

"I talked about this with Lisa only last week - it feels a lifetime ago. I miss everyone but we see each other individually, one on one and socially, and I've directed Matt LeBlanc's show (Joey) a few times.

"It was wonderful to step back on the same sound stage we used to shoot Friends. It feels like a huge 10-year chapter of my life has closed."
