Johansson admits crush on Hasselhoff character

Scarlett Johansson was thrilled to share the big screen with David Hasselhoff in animated picture The Spongebob Squarepants Movie - because she used to have a crush on the Baywatch star.

Johansson, 20, confesses as a teenager she lusted after Hasselhoff's fictional lifeguard Mitch Buchanan in the TV hit.

She reveals: "I so fancied him when I was young, that to see my name on the credits next to his makes me go all girly. He was a hunk back in those days, you know."
