Stipe apologises for missing tour date

REM frontman Michael Stipe has apologised to Scottish fans for cancelling a tour date after bassist Mike Mills collapsed.

The group had to pull out of their sell-out Glasgow show last night at the city's SECC venue because Mills contracted an ear infection brought on by influenza.
