Church slams romance rumours

Charlotte Church has slammed reports she is dating MTV's Dirty Sanchez star Matt Pritchard - despite spending all of Saturday night with him.

The Voice of an Angel singer left Cardiff, Wales' Soda Club at 3.30am on Sunday morning with the comic in tow, but didn't return to her luxury apartment for a further eight hours.

She says: "He just took me to a café to get a bacon sandwich - I was hungry. It was a good night, a late one."

Friends of the 19-year-old millionairess trust her version of events, because they know she is only interested in serious relationships rather than brief flings after splitting from live-in lover Kyle Johnson earlier this month.

A source says: "Charlotte's insecure and has to have someone to love. She wouldn't go for a boy randomly and with her it won't just be a one-night stand - it'll turn into a relationship."
