Denzel to bring David Jr's life to the screen

The life of legendary crooner and entertainer Sammy Davis Jr is to be made into a movie, Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington has announced.

Training Day star Washington has written the foreword to the paperback version of author Wil Haygood's In Black and White: The Life of Ammy Davis Jr, which will be published in April.
