Bollywood hero gets martial arts training

Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan is being trained in martial arts by Hero action choreographer Tony Ching Siu-tung in Hong Kong.

Ching, who is choreographing action sequences for the Hindu movie Krrish, starring Roshan, has been coaching his Indian disciple for four to six hours a day. “I’ve had so many injuries,” Roshan said. ”Every muscle in my body has been pulled, stretched, hurt.”

Ching, who directed action scenes for several Hong Kong and Hollywood movies, including Hero and House of Flying Daggers, praised his pupil as an “excellent student”, calling him “dedicated, focused and hardworking”.

Krrish, due for release in 2006, is the sequel to Koi Mil Gaya, which tells the story of a mentally challenged boy who befriends an alien.
