Snoop Dogg puts family first

Rapper Snoop Dogg has vowed to be a better husband to wife Shante Broadus since reuniting with her after a bitter separation.

The hip-hop star, real name Calvin Broadus, demanded a divorce from his wife of seven years last May (04), citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their marriage breakdown.

But now Dogg confesses he made a dreadful mistake.

He says: "I was so demanding and not willing to listen."

Dogg also admits the fame and power that was lavished upon him made him forget the important things in life.

He says: "That's why it was all bad, because of the simple fact that I'm Snoop Dogg and in a powerful position. I just got to come back to being Calvin, and realising what matters most to me - my wife and my kids."
