Halliwell return is put back
Geri Halliwell has been forced to postpone her comeback tour of Britain and Ireland as studio bosses want her back to pen new material.
The former Spice Girl was set to perform a 13-date tour in May to coincide with the release of her third solo album, but her bosses at Innocent Records are rumoured to be unhappy with the CD, so have called her back to the studio to pen new material before she attempts to re-launch her solo career.
A source says, "The plan was that Geri would release a single this month and put the album out in March. But they dropped off the release schedules."
Halliwell's spokeswoman adds, "Currently in the midst of finishing her forthcoming album, Geri's new team have advised her to postpone her May UK tour.
"Innocent are excited about the new album and look forward to being able to promote it properly before Geri embarks on the tour."
