Distillers drummer quits
The Distillers’ drummer Andy Granelli has quit the group in search of new challenges, insisting he's still great pals with his former bandmates.
Granelli - who provided the rhythm for the punk band's critically acclaimed breakthrough album Coral Fang - agonised over his decision, but ultimately decided his heart was no longer in the group.
He says: "I will miss everyone very much, this has been very hard for me, and I am going to miss Brody (Dalle), Tony (Bradley) and Ryan (Sinn) very much.
"None of this comes from any ill will. The four of us are still close friends. I will miss The Distillers, but I need to move on."
