Rocket man Elton in the skies
Elton John's image is to be used on the side of a fleet of US jets.
Low-cost Florida-based airline AirTran has put Elton's face on 20 of its Boeing 717 jets to promote the launch of satellite radio at each passenger's seat.
AirTran gave the singer a six-foot-long model of a jet and a $50,000 (€38,800) cheque for the Elton John Aids Foundation. Details of how much he will earn from the deal have not been disclosed.
