The boys - and girls - are back in town.

Well, they're now in Europe and up to no good. Having relieved the Las Vegas casinos of the folding stuff they are now bent on 'borrowing' a long list of treasures from a long list of photogenic Euro centres.

Alas, they fail to do it in the style to which we have become accustomed from Ocean's 11, a slick, witty and entertaining remake of the Rat Pack original; Twelve is a tired, washed-out version with nothing original to warrant our attention.

The adventures of Danny Ocean and his light-fingered pals are now merely a Hollywood franchise. By the time we get to Ocean's Thirty-Six the same old geezers will be escaping in zimmer-frames.

Twelve fails miserably to bring us anything new or exciting, just another series of heists; yawn, yawn!!

Clooney remains charming, to be sure, but the directing of Soderbergh looks as if it was posted in; second class.

Star Rating: 2/5
