Don't even bother with Racing Stripes

Racing Stripes

Cast: Bruce Greenwood, M. Emmet Walsh, Wendie Malick, Hayden Panettiere and (voices) Dustin Hoffman, Frankie Muniz, Michael Clarke Duncan, Mandy Moore

Cert: 12.

So there's this little zebra, abandoned - like this awful storyline - by everybody. And a little girl falls for him. And he believes - Babelike - that he's not really what he should be - a small donkey in pyjamas - but a racehorse.

He thinks he's good enough to win the famous Kentucky Derby and he's entered; oh, why even bother!

It's one of those "Awe, Gee!!!" films that thinks it's charming, but it's really just annoying. Hay, kiddo, you're a zebra, live with it!

Kids might enjoy it, but only if they have fluff between the ears; donkey or otherwise.

Star Rating: 1/5
