Ashanti and Beyonce sing together to end 'feud' buzz

R&B star Ashanti is to team up with pop superstar Beyonce Knowles to dampen rumours of rivalry between them.

The 24-year-old singer recently slammed suggestions she took an endorsement deal with hair care firm Herbal Essences to compete with the Destiny's Child star, who has a deal with L'Oreal.

The Foolish hitmaker is also keen to get R&B singer Mary J Blige involved in the project.

Ashanti says: "When you get two women making hot music, comparisons are going to be made and talk of feuds begins.

"I admire what she does and don't have a problem with her. I've talked about making a record with other strong females. I'd love to do something with Mary."
