Springer slams opera musical

TV presenter Jerry Springer has slammed controversial musical Jerry Springer The opera for it its offensive portrayal of different religions.

The 60-year-old host, whose programme inspired the stage show, understands why Britain's BBC TV network received a record 15,000 complaints and was threatened with legal action by pressure group the Christian Voice, over scenes showing Jesus Christ in a nappy.
