Harry Potter author JK Rowling has given birth to her third child, an-unnamed girl.

Rowling and her husband Dr Neil Murray are "thrilled" by the birth - a little sister for 22-month-old David and 11-year-old Jessica, Rowling's daughter with first husband Jorge Arantes.
