Cosby accused of 'inappropriate touching'.

US comedian Bill Cosby has been investigated by police following an allegation made by a female acquaintance.

His attorney Walter Phillips said he would not discuss the allegations, which he called "utterly preposterous" - but said they amounted to, at most, "inappropriate touching".

Apparently Cosby's accuser lived in Canada and the alleged incident happened one year ago.

No charges have yet been brought against the 67-year-old comedy star.
