Michael Moore's controversial movie Fahrenheit 9/11 has been nominated for the Directors Guild of America's (DGA) documentary film-maker award.

Michael Moore's controversial movie Fahrenheit 9/11 has been nominated for the Directors Guild of America's (DGA) documentary film-maker award.

Fahrenheit 9/11, which slates US President George W Bush's government, is one of five nominees for the prestigious prize.

The 57th annual DGA awards dinner takes place in Los Angeles on January 29.
