Jackie's rocky ride ends
Sylvester Stallone’s mother Jackie tonight became the first celebrity to be evicted from the UK's Big Brother house.
The Hollywood astrologer, who claims to be 71, smiled when the public vote was announced.
Racing pundit John McCririck, who had also been up for eviction, held his head in his hands when he learned he was to stay in the house.
Jackie Stallone became the ninth celebrity in the Big Brother house when she made a surprise entrance on Monday night.
After the public vote was announced, Jackie told John: “It serves you right. You should stay.”
She added: “I am so happy. Now how do I get out of here?”
Jackie Stallone was nominated for eviction by six housemates including her former daughter-in-law Brigitte Nielsen, who said she did not want a return to the misery which followed her short marriage to Rocky star Sylvester Stallone.
Septuagenarian Jackie had earlier claimed she was determined to win the reality television show, saying: “I intend to win. I’ve never lost anything in my life.”
But she later fell out with John McCririck, saying she was in a house “full of morons”.
Jackie was not meant to be eligible for the first round of nominations but producers changed their minds after Germaine Greer left.
