Steven Bing - Apology

On January 7, 2005, we published a story which asserted that film producer Steve Bing had denied model Elizabeth Hurley's claims that he was the father of her then-unborn child.

In fact, Mr Bing never denied he was the father of Elizabeth Hurley's child and instituted paternity proceedings in order to determine whether or not he was the child's father.

We unreservedly withdraw our original story and apologise for any offence caused to Mr Bing.
