Bowie song voted top British tune

David Bowie's Heroes has beaten tracks by Queen and the Bee Gees to top a poll as the best British song of the past 25 years.

Listeners of BBC station Radio 2 selected Bowie's 1977 classic as their favourite song, while Queen's We Are The Champions came second.
