Dunst's fear of spiders

Spiderman star Kirstin Dunst has one major phobia - she is terrified of spiders.

Despite gaining international fame for her romantic clinches with Tobey Maguire in the two arachnid superhero movies, Dunst suffers from arachnophobia and refuses to have spiders in her home.

Dunst says: "I can't stand them. I don't want to kill them but they don't need to be in the house.

"If it's in the shower, it'll be whoops, turn on the water and bye Mr Spider.

"But I'm always afraid that they'll crawl up, attack me and get revenge."
