Irish comic stars hold benefit night for Asian disaster

A special night of comedy and music featuring some of Ireland's top stars will perform at Vicar Street in Dublin on Sunday January 16.

A special night of comedy and music featuring some of Ireland's top stars will perform at Vicar Street in Dublin on Sunday January 16.

The Comedy Circus, hosted by Barry Murphy in aid of the Irish Red Cross Tsunami Appeal and the Irish Sri Lanka Trust Fund, features stand up comedy, sketches and music.

Some of the performers include Des Bishop, Aprés Match, Joe Rooney, Dave McSavage, The Camembert Quartet, Tara Flynn, Ding Dong Denny O'Reilly, Gift Grub's Mario Rosenstock.

The organisers will also hold an auction on the night for which the organisers are seeking donations of items with a value in excess of €150.

Tickets for the event are priced at €25 and are available from Ticketmaster.
