Meet the Fockers No 1 in America

Meet The Fockers is America’s number one movie, taking more than €48.1m over Christmas.

The film, starring Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand and Robert de Niro, grossed €17m on Christmas Day alone. Jim Carrey’s Lemony Snicket was second with about €11.3m.

One of the less celebrated stars of the Meet The Parents sequel, Teri Polo, who plays Stiller’s fiance in both films, is set for even greater exposure when she bares all in the February edition of Playboy. The actress appears in a promotional teaser in the January issue wearing nothing but thigh-high white socks.
