Ben Hur among films added to US national archive

Films teaching Cold War children to “duck and cover” during an atomic attack and describing how Oskar Schindler saved more than a thousand Jews from the Holocaust are being added to the US National Film Registry.

Also being preserved: Elvis Presley and Rin Tin Tin.
