Band Aid rules UK Christmas charts

Band Aid 20's reworking of hit charity single Do They Know It’s Christmas is the British Christmas number one, after spending four weeks ruling the airwaves.

Top stars including Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Dido, Bono and The Darkness contributed to the cover of the 1984 hit, to raise money for victims of civil unrest in the Darfur region of Sudan.
