Brando accused of sexual harrassment

Late acting legend Marlon Brando's former business manager Jo An Corrales has filed a $3.5m (€2.6m) claim against the actor's estate, accusing the Oscar-winner of sexual harassment and breach of contract.

Corrales filed the claim in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Thursday, alleging the Godfather star "caused a hostile work environment due to his continuous acts of sexual harassment" to Corrales during her three years of working for the actor.

Corrales' attorney Joel Pipes says if the claim is rejected by the trustees of Brando's estate, a lawsuit would be filed specifying the allegations, which have not been detailed in the current claim.

Washington state-native Corrales claims Brando reneged of their contract by removing her as co-executor of his will only days before his July death.

Corrales also claims she is owed an estimated $500,000 (€369,300) in unpaid commissions she had earned through residuals she had recovered for Brando.
