The beautiful game has been translated into a feel-good joy in Chow's charmingly dotty film in which a group of monks form a team and set out to gain revenge against their old foes: Team Evil.

Sing (Chow) combines conventional soccer methods with those from the martial arts as the big game approaches.

It's a funny, heart-warming and odd little film, which really involves the audience with its downright silliness.

Move over Mr Beckham, the monks are coming!
