Magazine can't keep up with Ellen

Ellen DeGeneres may be out but she certainly wasn’t open with gay magazine The Advocate, which just put together a cover story about the comedienne’s supposedly blissful relationship with photographer Alexandra Hedison, who also took photos for the article.

The magazine came out just after Degeneres announced she had split with Hedison in favour of former Ally McBeal beauty Portia De Rossi.

By way of an apology, Degeneres gave a statement to the magazine, saying she still cared for Hedison even though she dumped her. “I still love her and care tremendously for her,” DeGeneres said. “And it’s important to add that we have every intention of being in each other’s lives.”
