Heartbreak for Eastwood daughter as boyfriend dies

The boyfriend of Hollywood star Clint Eastwood’s daughter has been found dead at a Colorado ski resort.

The body of Michael Combs, 42, was found on Tuesday morning in trees near the bottom of Vail Mountain, Eagle County sheriff’s spokeswoman Kim Andree said. He was reported missing on Monday night.

Combs, of Calabasas, California, had been snowboarding with Alison Eastwood, the actor/director’s daughter, Andree said. Ski patrol members and crews that groom the slopes at night had been looking for him.

Miss Eastwood told a sheriff’s deputy that Combs had complained earlier on Monday that he was not feeling well and had a headache.

An autopsy report is expected today.

Clint Eastwood was not at the resort, Andree said. His Los Angeles office released a statement saying the family was shocked and saddened by the accident.
