Ozzy to give royal performance

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne will be among the stars taking the stage tonight at the Royal Variety Performance.

The former Black Sabbath rocker and his X-Factor panellist wife will join a celebrities including Elton John, Cliff Richard and Liza Minnelli at the annual show.

It is expected to be Ozzy’s only UK performance of the year.

Jamelia, Girls Aloud, Gwen Stefani, Bryan McFadden and Delta Goodrem will also perform.

The evening will feature songs from West End show The Producers, ENO’s The Pirates of Penzance and the finalists of the hit show Strictly Come Dancing.

The Royal Variety Performance at The Coliseum in London is a charity event in aid of the Entertainment Artists’ Benevolent Fund.

It will be broadcast on BBC1 on December 15.
