Elton no show as voice goes

Singer Elton John cancelled a show after a throat infection resulted in the loss of his singing voice.

The concert at Nottingham Arena was to be the third in the singer’s December UK concert tour.

Elton, aged 57, said: “I seem to have caught this infection. I woke up with virtually no voice.”
