A so-so comedy, hampered by a central character with whom we can have no connection.

We are in the Stateside world of high school nerds where our hero (Heder) finds life is merely a constant stream of failures as he attempts to be "different" from the surrounding nerds.

It ultimately becomes embarrassing to watch and even when it manages to be funny-ish it's merely at the expense of other unfortunate characters.
