Band Aid 20 banner to dazzle Heathrow passengers
Band Aid 20's 'Do they know it's Christmas?' is receiving another boost, after officials at London's Heathrow airport agreed to fill a field with a giant advertising banner.
The charity track, the proceeds of which will go towards alleviating famine in Sudan, shot straight to the top of the British singles chart on Sunday after selling over 300,000 copies in its first week of release.
And now around 190,000 passengers each day will be able to see the banner from the air.
Band Aid bosses are hoping they'll rush out and buy the single.
The advertisement, which features the Band Aid logo, will remain in place until Do They Know It's Christmas? is no longer number one in the UK.
