The singer spokes to the Art and Society students of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's Temple University for more than an hour about art, politics and religion.

The 35-year-old star says: "I'm not someone who doesn't respect religion, but I don't care for the way religion is used to manipulate people.

"We create our own gods. We create our own devils."

Television network MTV filmed Manson's speech and will broadcast in on their MTVu channel on 6 December.
