Windy Brian Harvey does a celebrity jungle runner

Brian Harvey quit the jungle today after a blazing row with Janet Street-Porter over his flatulence.

Janet hit the roof when the former East 17 star broke wind close to her as she was making dinner.

She shouted at him – and he responded by packing his bags and storming out of the camp.

Janet told him: “Don’t do that when we are cooking. It is so inappropriate.”

A furious Brian retorted: “Don’t keep f**ing telling me what to do. If I want to fart I will fart. We are outdoors.”

The star blamed the jungle diet of beans for his flatulence.

He ranted at Janet: “Just because you think it is wrong, doesn’t mean everyone else thinks it is wrong.”

He told her: “I take it very personally because you know there are 16 million people watching.”

Janet retorted: “I also know that 16 million people probably think it is a bit gross to be farting where people are trying to cook.”

“What, 16 million people don’t fart Janet?” replied Brian.

The row was the final straw for 30-year-old Brian, who had complained bitterly about being plagued by flies during his time in the jungle.

His hatred of the bugs grew worse after Wednesday’s Bushtucker Trial, which saw him covered in a swarm of flies while trying to eat infested pies.

The pop star found it tough in the camp from day one. When he arrived in Australia he learned that his grandmother had died. He decided to carry on with the show and entered the jungle a day late.

After deciding to quit the show he said: “I just want to get the f*** out of here. I have got other things on my f***ing mind and I want to go now.”

Fran Cosgrove bagged Brian’s bed after his departure.
